Your great work…documented.

Capturing the Artistry of Your Life

A few years ago, I photographed an artist in her studio. She wanted images of her space, her work, and herself to use on her website. I loved the opportunity to craft stories of her art through photography.

Judy La Grutta

I create images for artisans, families, and people to have the images you need to document your craft as well as showcase and market your craft on websites, social media, in flyers, on blogs, instructional brochures, or even a documentary book to share your knowledge or for your posterity to understand the importance of your work.

There are all kinds of crafts and each has its own artistry: Authors need a picture for their author page; HVAC people need pictures of their people at work; Moms want their kids and their parenting in action (rather than posed) and so on!

It's especially important to document the artistry and crafts of our older “grand” generations: anyone who could be a grandparent. They hold knowledge we need and a love of craft that can bless us all. And as we document your crafts, we’ll create a great portrait of them too: an image becomes a beautiful snapshot of you at this time for your posterity.

My ultimate goal is that you have images that showcase YOU and what you do at the pivot points in your life. Graduate portraits capture the end one chapter and the beginning of another, and it is a privilege to be able to help families gather those images too!

I’m Jennifer Seely, your photographer

I believe every masterpiece—whether a hand-stitched quilt or a growing business—is built on a foundation of patience and skill. What began as a simple desire to capture my children’s milestones soon became a deep-seated passion. After being coached by several photography pros and taking many classes, I launched my business in 2017 to help others build a visual legacy as reliable as it is beautiful.

Now, after nearly a decade in my own business, I understand your work is more than a finished product; it is a story told in every texture, movement, interaction, and shade. I provide a respectful, seasoned lens for your life’s work. I specialize in a relaxed, guided experience to help even the most camera-shy feel at ease.

I want to help you tell your story of YOUR CRAFT—the ones hidden in the details of a craft, the pride of a graduation, or the strength of a business. Photography is how we preserve the narrative of who we are and what we create, ensuring your unique "story in stitches" is shared with the world. Because capturing your story? That is MY CRAFT.

Three Easy Steps to Photography You Love

Step 1: Study the Style

Your choice of a photographer should be driven by style. As you browse my galleries, imagine yourself in the frame. If those images work for your goals, we are likely a perfect match. If you are looking for a different aesthetic, I encourage you to find the artist whose "look" truly resonates with you.

My work is defined by saturated colors, deep contrast, and sharp focus. I intentionally use stronger "blacks" to give every image a sense of clarity, strength, and depth. This ensures your story is captured with the same boldness and intentionality you bring to your own craft.

Step 2: Choose a Photo Package

I offer a variety of packages to meet multiple needs, but I can also customize a package if you need something different than what is offered.

Choose a package that will give you more images than you think you need or want. The number of images you choose will help you have lots of options for whatever goals you might have.

Step 3: Book a Consultation

Phone or Zoom Consultations are available in the afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please contact me if you need a time not available on the consultation schedule.

During your consultation, we'll discuss

  • your goals for the photography

  • the date and time for your session

  • the location for your shoot

  • clothing options and suggestions
